The calculator and brief builder work in your browser. The tool does not send your client names, project notes, or brief text to our server.
Free tool data
The values you enter are held on the current page. We do not automatically save your brief to an account or browser storage. Download it before closing or refreshing the page. Clicking the share button puts only the five calculator numbers into a link; people with that link can see those numbers.
Shared calculator values become part of a URL and may appear in browser history and hosting access logs. Do not put confidential information in URLs.
Purchases
Before redirecting to PayPal, we temporarily save only your private order-return link in this tab's session storage so you can use “Check your latest order” when you return. This does not store your client names, project details, brief, or payment details. The link contains a private order token; keep it private. Session storage normally ends when you close the tab, although browser session restoration may preserve it.
Paid checkout takes place on PayPal. PayPal handles your payment details under its own privacy statement. We receive the transaction information needed to verify payment, deliver the download, manage support, and handle payment disputes. This can include a payment reference, payment status, amount, currency, and payer information supplied by PayPal.
Order records and payment notifications may be kept to administer purchases and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Download access is limited to 30 days after payment confirmation. This does not mean the underlying transaction record is erased after 30 days.
Hosting and external services
Our hosting provider may process ordinary access and security logs, such as IP address, requested page, and browser information. Google Fonts is used to display typefaces and may receive your IP address and browser request information. ScopeKit does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies to the free calculator.
Support
If you contact support, we use your email and the information you send to answer your request. Do not send passwords, complete card details, or confidential client files. For privacy questions or requests concerning your information, email drutherford@surrealityai.com.
Changes
We may update this notice when the service changes. The date above identifies the current version.
